The Bulgarian-Romanian relations have their successes on the level of business, but they will have an even brighter future, if they are get activated at the level of common people. It looks like this is the goal of the digital book ”Informational guidebook for Bulgarians in Romania”, which was published in 2019.
The document has gathered at one place the most important rules for obtaining of citizenship in Romania, for labour relations, for labour, medical and social security rights, for payment of taxes, for education, for marriage and divorce of Bulgarian citizens in the northern neighbour. The guidebook also provides the basic information on the work of Romanian justice, gives links to the main state institutions, provides details for the Bulgarian communities in Romania.
”No matter whether you are here in order to work, to study or to make business, for long term or for short term, the current guidebook is created in order to be your point of reference with guidelines and current practical and legal information, which is necessary for your everyday life and business”, says the author of this book – the honorary consul Rossen Roussev in the preface. He distributes the guidebook free, claiming that he has the well-intended desire to ease Bulgarians in knowing life and rules in Romania.
The reactions to the guidebook are excellent, but so far it has not quite caught the eye of Bulgarian media. At the same time a lot of people say that such an attempt for systematisatoin of useful information in compact format are not known in the space of Bulgaria and its neighbours. The texts for travelling in Romania, for transit passing, for signing of labour contracts and for fiscal rules are especiialy useful.
The blog ”The Bridge of Friendship” was allowed by the honorary consul to have the right to distribute the digital book. It can be downloaded here (in Bulgarian language):
The blog will study how the guidebook will be perceived by the Bulgarian readers and will try to promote it with next articles. It will be very useful if a similar guidebook appears, which will be dedicated to Romanian citizens, who want to live, work and develop relations in Bulgaria. Such initiatives demonstrate modern spirit of cooperation, which has to be supported.
